Green Aviation Insights

A collaborative platform to cut emissions and optimise airspace.

The big picture, in fine detail

GAIN (Green Aviation Insights) is the first global benchmarking, reporting and collaboration platform that enables Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) to measure their airspace efficiency and identify ways to reduce emissions.

GAIN gives ANSPs access to a global community, and a unique breadth of shared information and insight, that helps them to improve, measure and report progress towards their sustainability goals.

Highlights

Collaboration

Offers access to a strong community of air traffic leaders around the world who share the goal of reducing aviation’s environmental impact.

User Led

Users contribute to platform development and improvements, enabling them to collectively shape its evolution to best meet their needs.

Reporting

Delivers airspace emission and efficiency data to aid standardised reporting and measure against sustainability targets.

Consistency

Clear data and insights into efficiency and consistency of service supports improved flight planning and stronger airline relationships.

Reputation

Provides tangible, consistent, quantifiable evidence of progress towards carbon reduction goals and commitment to industry targets.

Efficiency

Saves time and resources by making relevant data and reports quick and easy to access so teams can focus on making impactful decisions and investments.

GAIN is the first global platform built for Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) to benchmark, report and collaborate on sustainability – and make meaningful progress towards reaching net zero by 2050. Members share data, insights and experiences to drive improvements in environmental performance and operational efficiency.

GAIN’s five founding members are skeyes (Belgium), CAAM (Malaysia), AZANS (Azerbaijan), ATNS (South Africa) & NATS (UK). Other ANSPs are invited to access the tool and community by becoming a member.

Full Members have full access to the GAIN platform and play an active role in shaping new features and updates. They also take part in regular sessions to share progress, challenges and ideas.

Associate Members can try GAIN for free, with access to the community for three months and the tool itself for one week.

You won’t need to provide any data, because GAIN is automatically populated by existing data sources. In future, ANSPs will have the option of integrating their own data.

GAIN is a not-for-profit initiative. Membership fees are tiered to reflect the size and scale of each ANSP’s operations.
